Participation in several international projects on participatory research in Integrated Water Management in rural areas. Awarded the Presidential Prize for Solidarity in Educational Practices in Higher Education (2004) Water for All and for All project, A University experience that promotes solidarity and regional development and Finalist for the 2004 NACIÓN Award for Agricultural Excellence in the Best Educator category. Researcher and consultant on water quality issues and the impact of bovine production systems on the environment. More than 130 articles published and presentations at conferences. Editor and author of 6 books on the above topics, the most recent Animal Production and Environment: Concepts, Interactions and Management.
