Service-Learning Research Symposiums

As one of the activities of the International Service-Learning Week CLAYSS has organized three Service-Learning Research Symposiums in 2004, 2012 and 2015.
The Service-Learning Research Symposiums have as an objective to contribute to its theoretical foundations, to promote encounter and exchange between researchers and to give visibility to the experiences developed in the different educational areas.
Since 2012 becoming also a space for academic-scientific exchange between CLAYSS and the Ibero-American Service-Learning Network. Within this space, two impact publications have been published and remarkable authors have been invited to publish their research in RIDAS (Ibero-American Service Learning Journal) and in IJRSLCE (International Journal of Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement).
The Research Symposium focuses on: Discussions and theoretical contributions to the definition of “Service- Learning " in the Ibero-American context; Monitoring and evaluation of service-learning institutional programs and practices and Case studies and systematization of service-learning programs and practices.
