Founded in Buenos Aires on October 29th, 2005, it consists of more than 90 government agencies, civil society organizations, universities and regional agencies in Latin America and the Caribbean, United States and Spain.

Talloires Network of Universities for the civic and social commitment
Latin American coordinator. Founded in 2005 on the campus of Tufts University in Talloires, France, it brings together universities that have institutionally chosen policies for University Social Responsibility (USR) and civic and social commitment. Since 2007 CLAYSS facilitates the Latin American Node. Since 2014 Prof. Nieves Tapia, CLAYSS director, is part of the Steering Committee.
